Slowly dusk descends
Trees whisper in utter awe
God sets sky on fire

In capturing a moment

He waited, his eye glued to the lens, for that elusive moment which he wanted to capture for a lifetime. Losing track of time, forgetting everything else around him.

As I watched his eager anticipation, his concentrated efforts, I looked around and saw life passing by. Many moments flitted past, each pregnant with rich possibilities but he was interested in only that one defining slice of time.

Is this sometimes how we lose precious moments in our ardent zeal to capture one among the myriad? As we stand guard waiting for that one inspiration to strike our soul, many moments touch us and left unattended, fade away with a gentle sorrow.
